SCF Cultural Sub Committee has come up with the following plan for the
BMR Workshop.

Objectives
1. Review BMR2007
2. Recommendations for Future of BMR and New Year Celebrations

Invitees/ Attendees

1. SCF Committee        - Mahinda to invite the committee
2. TYG reps             - Kamal to invite the TYG reps
3 .BMR Production team  - Dayantha to invite BMR Production team
4. Technical team       - Dayantha to invite BMR tech team
5. Marketing team       - Himali to invite Marketing team
6. Ticketing team       - Hemantha/ Jayampathi to invite Ticketing team
7. Logistics team       - Kamal to invite logistics team
8. SCF Presidents and VP Cultural of past 5 years - Mahinda to invite
past presidents and VPs

Total number could be around 60 to 70 people

Venue: Will be advised soon

Date: Friday 18th of May at 7.30PM : Note we are still trying to book a
venue, hopefully we will know COB today..

Approach

To allow everyone to contribute to the workshop, we will form number of
teams under different topics. There will be group discussions under the
agreed topic for about45 minutes. At the end of 45   minute time each
team shall come up with a list of comments. Preferably two Power Point
Slides. 1. Comment the current status of the issue Slide 2. Proposals to
improvements

At the end of the group discussion time one person from each group to
present the report, the presentation time  will be limited to 5 minutes.
Extra information is welcome in written format but no extra time will be
allocated for speeches.

1.SCF President open the workshop - 5 min
2.Production Manage to talk about BMR 2007 background - 15 min
3.Daya S. to open the workshop explain the rules -5 min
4.Workshop 45 min
5 Presentations 60 min ( up to 12 presenters )
6 Concluding remarks by Cultural VP. 5 to 10 min

Topics to be discussed in the workshop as groups ( this can be extended
or re grouped at the workshop)

1. Financial Viability of BMR
2. Quality improvements
3. Future of New year festival
4. Artist participation, review
5. Making SCF membership a compulsory requirement to perform
6. How to improve ticketing and seating
7. Improving crowd control and hall management
8. Time Management on the day
9. How to make BMR a more manageable exercise to SCF

Please add more topics if you can think about, and try to think along
these topics.. they will be the paragraphs of the final report we
generate after the workshop.

There will be a tea break for 30 minutes

Total expected time  = 3 to 4 hours
